Paul

Loeffelholz

Playing bass and singing for over 40 years, Paul has performed with many different acts in many musical styles. After graduating Fanshawe College Music Industry Arts Program in the mid 80’s, then touring Canada for 4 years, he settled in London Ontario where he’s always had numerous music projects on the go. Over the years he’s been long term bassist for Grant Smith and the Power, Bill Durst, After The Lounge, and most recently Doug Varty and Beatles in Blue.

Paul’s presence and musical skills not only as a bassist, but as a harmony singer have in large part defined the sound of Beatles in Blue on record and live.

Sharing the stage with Liberty Silver, Carlos Morgan, George Oliver, Bowser from Sha Na Na, Brian Vollmer, Alfie Zappacosta, Scott Holt, Gary McCracken and any number of Tribute shows Paul’s pro skills and vibe are always in demand.

Also a qualified live sound engineer, he’s worked with the Great Lakes Blues Society, artists Ashley MacIsaac, John Allen Cameron, Allen Frew, Helix, and many more over a 30 year period.
